We owe the men and women who have served our nation a debt of gratitude that can never be repaid. As our military personnel leave the service, we must ensure they are provided with the tools and resources necessary to assimilate into civilian life—whether it be through providing quality health care, paying for education, buying a home, or finding a job. Our veterans have sacrificed a great deal for our freedom, and we have a duty and responsibility to care for them. Throughout my career, I have supported programs to improve the quality of life for our veterans, and I will continue to work to that end.
