CONGRESSMAN JIM SENSENBRENNER - PROUDLY SERVING WISCONSIN’S 5TH DISTRICT

I am a University of Wisconsin Law School graduate, the former Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee, and currently serve as the ranking Republican on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Subcommittee.  Following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, I authored the PATRIOT Act to aid law enforcement in tracking and detaining terrorists.  I am also proud of my efforts to protect children through initiatives such as the PROTECT Act and the Adam Walsh Act.

My approach is one of common-sense when it comes to crime and protecting our borders.  Law enforcement should be provided the appropriate tools to protect our borders and hunt down criminals and strong sentences are effective in deterring crime.
